PC gaming

The most powerful and flexible option, with access to the widest game library and full control over settings. The trade-off is cost and desk space, a proper PC setup means a desk, a chair, and peripherals to go with it.

Console gaming

Plug in and play, with consistent performance and no setup headaches. You trade some flexibility for simplicity, and you're tied to your TV or monitor.

Handheld gaming

Play anywhere, no desk required. Retro handhelds in particular are brilliant for classic libraries in a pocket-sized device, though they won't match a PC or console for modern, graphically demanding titles.

Most people land on more than one

A handheld for the commute or the couch, a proper desk setup for serious sessions. They're not mutually exclusive, they cover different moments in your day.
